Ten plastics manufacturers take up the Growth Challenge
Ten VSEs or SMEs in the plastics industry and eleven in the chemicals industry embark on the adventure of the Growth Challenge accelerator.
"Despite the current difficulties, I see before me the future of plastics", welcomed Jean Martin, the general delegate of the Federation of plastics and composites, during the launch party of the Growth Challenge program which was held December 3 at Bpifrance's premises in Paris. The twenty-one companies selected, ten VSEs or SMEs in the plastics industry (Buathier, Idreva, Pichot, Locacil, Optisun, PA Marques, Simon Plastics, TLM, Tag Plastique and Visa Injection Plastique) and eleven in chemicals, were gathered for the first time on the eve of their first seminar organized at ESCP Europe, partner school of the program.
Growth Challenge is aimed at industrial SMEs with fewer than fifty employees. The twenty-one winners have a turnover of between two and eight million euros. They were chosen for their ambition and their development potential.
Like Tag Plastique, a company specializing in the injection of technical parts for the automotive, leisure, cosmetic and aeronautical industries. Taken over two years ago by Pierre Coulon, the company based in Normandy has six employees and a dozen presses. “We are faced with a need to diversify in order to broaden our client base and continue to grow. We need marketing and business development contacts and advice", said the young entrepreneur.
This is precisely what Growth Challenge offers via twelve months of individual and collective support combining diagnostics, personalized advice modules, seminars intended to feed their strategic thinking and networking with the network of experts and partners of Bpifrance. "You will be able to work on your commercial action plans, the management of your teams or your performance management," encouraged Bruno Rogowski, director of operations for Public Bank Support in his welcoming speech.
